Inbox tabs allow you to save incoming emails in the folder separated by senders. If clicking on an inbox tab, only the emails assigned to this inbox tab will be shown in the display area. The following options exist:
enable or disable inbox tabs
assign incoming emails to an inbox tab
edit the inbox tabs view
Note: The inbox tabs described here can only be used for emails. Depending on the configuration, you can use separate categories for appointments, contacts and tasks, see Creating and Managing Categories.
How to enable or disable the inbox tabs:
To enable the inbox tabs, click the
icon in the menu bar. Click on .The Configure tabs window opens. It shows the available inbox tabs. Click on .
On the right side below the menu bar the tabs bar will be displayed.
To disable the inbox tabs, click the
icon in the menu bar. Click on .The Configure tabs window opens. Click on .
How to assign incoming emails to an inbox tab:
Select the
folder in the folder view.Emails that have not been assigned to an inbox tab yet, are displayed in the
tab.Drag an email from the list view to a tab in the tabs bar and drop it there.
You can also select an email. Click the
icon in the toolbar. Select a tab from the menu.In order to finish the process, do one of the following:
In order to only move the selected email to the tab, close the pop-up window.
In order to move all existing and future incoming emails from this sender to the tab, click on
.How to edit the inbox tabs view:
Click the
icon in the menu bar. Click on .You can also double-click or right-click on an inbox tab in the inbox tab bar.
The Configure tabs window opens.
To enable or disable an inbox tab, enable or disable the respective checkbox.
To rename an inbox tab, edit the respective text.
Note: Some tabs can not be edited.
